Understand the process of preparation of assets for the purpose of the metaverse, the traditional method.
Week 2 - Generative AI Based Design
Learning Outcome
Understand the role of generative AI in Metaverse content creation, including asset generation, textures, and animations.
2.1 Introduction to Generative AI concepts and applications in Metaverse
2.2 Overview of 3D asset generation, textures, and animation with AI tools
2.3 Exploring foundational AI-driven design software (e.g., DALL-E, Stable Diffusion for textures)

Week 3 - Generative AI Based Environment Creation

Learn the essentials of creating environments for Metaverse spaces using AI.

3.3 Experimenting with different scenes, lighting, and material applications

Week 4 - Generative AI for Character Design

Week 5 - Customization and Functionality with Gen AI

Extending and achieving custom functionality with Generative AI.
5.1 Creating Interactive Functions with Generative AI to achieve the various functionalities.
5.2 Applying generative AI for dynamic, evolving content based on user progress
5.3 Creating interactive Objects and UI elements with Generative AI.

Week 6 - Project and Assessment
Learning Outcome
Here students work to create a new project using the above learning from planning, designing, and character, environment, and experience creation.
6.1 Storyline, and first samples of assets.
6.2 Final Work Prototype with basic assessment from peers.
6.3 Final Presentations and Scoring of outcome Achieved.

Practical Component
Practical Demonstrations of student made models at various stages, with fixes, and live demonstrations to a committee of peers or prospective recruiters.
