Krithika Shankaran is a Young India Fellow. She is an Educationist, an Author, and a Social Scientist with expertise in Institution Building. Her work includes Public Private Partnerships, Public Policy & projects that build collaborative socio-economic impact for people anchoring on Knowledge, Culture & Identity.
She is an engineer with research work & experience at Harvard Medical School & Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston, USA.
She holds & has held several Leadership positions across domains.
Krithika is the Chairperson of National Task-Force, Social Inclusion & Affirmative Action, ASSOCHAM( Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry). The National Taskforce under her leadership works on nation-wide programs & projects, across agenda areas, in collaboration with leading National & International Organisations to create socio-economic impact for the under-represented and unrepresented people, across India.
She is a Non-Executive & Non-Independent Director, as on the Board of Directors of EQUIPPP(Expression of Equity Interest in Public Private Partnerships), a Public Listed Firm, on the National Stock Exchange, also pioneering the Social Stock Exchange. The firm works with State Govts on various PPPs. Recently a mandate has been given by the Govt of Telangana to train 10,000 youth per year for 3 years in Banking, Financial Services & Insurance.
She is a Strategy Partner at Infinite Sum Modelling, an International Public Policy Firm that works with governments, international organizations like IMF, World Bank, ADB, and Corporations such as Google, McKinsey, etc. which has a global presence, with offices & centers in Vancouver, Seattle, Los Angeles, Riyadh, Beijing and New Delhi.
She is the Managing Trustee of K-Qbe Foundation. The Foundation pioneers GITA-SAR (Global Institute of Transformative Action), creating Global Capability Centres designed to create Self Sustainable Smart Societies in Tier 2,3,4 economies. GITA-SAR operates with several national and global partners, creating solutions at the intersection of Academia, Industry, Government, Para-Govt Bodies & Civil Society. GITA-SAR works in the areas of Public Policy, Public-Private Partnerships, Trade, Procurement & Logistics.
She has published several Research Papers in top International Journals including PubMed, South Asia Journal, etc. and has been acknowledged for her work in Science, the world's most renowned Journal for science, engineering, and medicine. She has been featured on the Cover Page of Bombay Stock Exchange Brokers Forum along with her article on 'India - Way Forward'.
Her Flagship Project, Project 4S has been publicized by the Ministry of External Affairs to over 20 countries abroad. She speaks as a Panellist in National & International Events on Policy, Efficiency & Process Reforms. She recently spoke at a WASH Policy Event at the India International Centre, New Delhi. She also teaches & addresses large groups of students nationwide- college, university & school primarily on Research & Analysis, also Leadership, Communication & Writing.
She has the distinction of being recommended by the Chief Minister of Pondicherry to the World Economic Forum (WEF) to bring the Global Shapers of the WEF to Pondicherry. The Hub has been functioning for the past 4 years under her Leadership working on a grassroots level with various stakeholders to bring local impact to Pondicherry.
She was the Managing Director of Brahma Valley Group of Institutions - Maharashtra (a large chain of Professional Colleges and Public Schools and Institutes). She worked as a Public Policy Consultant to a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha was involved in Research & Legislation of Policies of the Indian National Congress alongside handling the presence of the Member of Parliament on National Media such as NDTV, CNN, etc.
Krithika worked with Genpact Corporate HQ, in Global Operations, as an Assistant Manager and Analyst to the Senior Vice-President & Global Business Leader. In her previous assignments, she worked with Albright Stonebridge Group under the leadership of Madeleine Albright, Former US Sec of State, in Trade Policy related to Healthcare & Medical Instruments.
She has represented India as a Delegate in the Euro-BRICS Young Leaders Summit in St.Petersburg, Russia, and Helsinki, Finland & COP23 Summit by the United Nations in Bonn, Germany.
She has worked as a Research Scholar at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology in association with Brigham and Women's Hospital-Boston, USA. She has also recently launched her Book at the Meerut International Literature Festival and won the Literary Lounge Iconic Author Award.
Krithika has a Master's in Technology from SASTRA, Research Program experience at Harvard Medical School & Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston- USA, PGDM in Business and Leadership from Ashoka University as a Young India Fellow, and a Diploma in Public Policy from Takshashila Institution, B. A in Hindi and M.A (first year) in Sanskrit from IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University).
